Some think of it as a game. For us it was more than a game.
Every game was like a life. There were ups. And downs. But we were always strong, we fought till the end.
But it was never about wins or loses. For us it was about screwing around and having fun with friends. Just having a good time.
We came together as a team. But we left as brothers.
It felt like it could be forever. But now it’s gone.
All the games. All the touchdowns. All the wins. All gone.
We go to high school. Some of us play ball, some study and some sit on the couch and get fat. But we’ll grow up and get old, get jobs, families, new lives.
But every one of those guys will keep the memories. Memories of making that sick catch, busting a long TD run or making that huge hit. But what made those memories even better was doing it with 30 other guys. 30 guys that were our brothers. Our friends
